St Aidan's Film Night

Film night will be making a return to St Aidan's Parish Room again next month so all you have to do is to bring yourself, your friends, eats and drinks, sit back, relax and enjoy the film.  There is no charge for the event!

With the continuing success of the current arrangements, we have another special film night DOUBLE BILL starting at 5pm on Saturday 20th  October with a family film as chosen by our young people, followed by an older persons choice at 7pm - though still rated as a 12 and suitable for family so feel free to come along and stay for both films....bring a cushion and don't forget your popcorn!!

St Aidan’s Luncheon Club:

The days of autumn are almost here and the St Aidans Kitchen team are back in action and already thinking about ways to tempt you to join us to sample their delicious home cooking.

The luncheon club meet on the last Friday of every month to serve a hearty home cooked meal in the parish room. This is an event that you can confidently bring your friends along to, not only is the food freshly cooked but the company is also great and lively! If you haven't been to one of these lunches before then you really don't know what you're missing

There is no charge for the lunch but the opportunity will be given in lieu to make a charitable donation to well known charities nominated on the day.

Next event - Friday 28th September @12:00

St Aidan’s Cookery Demonstration:

After the great success of our first session on Jamaican Cookery with Suzette in June and our Italian Cookery with Paul in July we are now planning on making these a more regular event...our latest session was a hands-on display of some traditional baking where we were shown how to impress our friends and family with cakes, pastry, scones and cookies....and we all got to sample all of the delicious things that we made!  Our next demonstration will be held in October with the menu still to be decided so watch this space!

Places are strictly limited so please sign up as soon as the lists are released to make sure you can get involved.

Macmillan Events:

Each year, both of our churches show their support for the work of the Macmillan Nurses by holding a fundraising coffee morning.

Be confident in bringing your friends along and be sure of a warm welcome along with the home cooked delights on offer.  We are giving you plenty of notice so you don't book anything else on the same day!
