Over recent months St Aidan's garden has continued to grow from strength to strength with our award winning team and a move from our Jubilee Garden Display at the entrance to the church to a new WELCOME sign.
As ever, everyone involved has worked really hard throughout the year showing off their green fingered skills and their efforts are once again reflected in the superb quality of the finished gardens. Mondays are busy days for our gardening group at St Aidan’s, they have also added a social dimension which has resulted in a wonderful team of people not only caring about the look of the church grounds but genuinely caring about each other too and that’s what parish life is all about. If you would like to get involved in any aspect of the garden team then please come along on a Monday morning from approx 11am onwards.
The gardens are a beautiful facility that will benefit the whole of our parish community, they can be used as a peaceful sanctuary to sit and relax, to potter about in or even to hold a party or barbecue, it is fully intended for use by everyone.
